DIY Epipen Belt Ideal For Smaller Kids

Materials Needed:

  • headband (Laura used Lululemon brand)
  • reusable snack pouch (Laura used Colibri brand)
  • light foam padding
  • thread for sewing

  • Put a single layer of light foam padding into the centre line of the pouch
  • Place the headband across the middle of the pouch and sew the pouch to the headband with a single line of stitching across. Make sure you sew through the light foam padding.
  • Fold the pouch around the headband. Open the pouch and sew one side of the top of the pouch (zipper end) to the bottom of the pouch to keep the fold in place.

  • To wear the belt, your child will step into the belt/headband and pull it up to their waist, similar to pulling up jogging pants.
