Ruth is an allergy sufferer, mother of a food allergic child and food allergy advocate and writer. She founded Best Allergy Sites after becoming frustrated at the lack of a central place to gain insight, information, and knowledge about allergies from management to products available. With a focus on companies that truly “get” food allergies and manufacturer safe products, Best Allergy Sites serves as a leading resource guide and directory for the food allergy and intolerance community.

Michael Pistiner, MD, MMSc
Dr. Michael Pistiner is currently practicing allergy in Leominster, MA and recently completed his Allergy/Immunology fellowship at Children’s Hospital Boston, Harvard Medical School. He has developed a special interest in food allergy, anaphylaxis, and in the management of food allergy in schools. He has seen first hand the critical importance of community wide education as his son has life threatening allergy to tree nuts.

Jill Robbins, Founder of HomeFree
As a mom, and a clinical psychologist, I realize how important it is for kids with food allergies to feel included at social occasions, where a sweet treat is often part of the fun. I created HomeFreeTM bakery, with a line of delicious, wholesome cookies and cakes, as well as a cook book full of easy to make allergen-free recipes, so that kids with food allergies can enjoy treats along with everyone else.

Alisa Fleming
Alisa founded the informational site Go Dairy Free in 2004, and wrote Dairy Free Made Easy in 2006. She followed up with a sequel in late 2008 titled Go Dairy Free: The Guide and Cookbook for Milk Allergies, Lactose Intolerance, and Casein-Free Living. Alisa also blogs at One Frugal Foodie, where she shares recipes for great and inexpensive meals.
